EXPERTISE
SYSTEMS, PROCEDURES AND WORKFLOWS
Through my skills in technology as well as leadership, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and teamwork, I have increased school-wide capacity in using innovative tools, as well as built and increased the efficiency of school-wide systems and workflow.
BUILDING CAPACITY
Developing school-wide capacity included, developing and using a needs assessment survey of teachers to drive the ongoing professional development of the identified core teaching tools, implementing Seesaw portfolio and student feedback tool for the elementary division, enhancing the grade book to reflect standard based grading, conducting parent workshops to ensure understanding of our tools, as well as empowering teaching assistants with similar devices as teachers so as to remove barriers such as not having access to the same digital tool sets.
INNOVATION
In my time at the American International School - Vienna, Innovation has meant bringing Tech Tuesdays to the school to help continue to build capacity outside of dedicated PD days. Full implementation of a follow you print systems to match the school's green initiative. Standardization of classroom setup to easily facilitate the sharing of resources.Planning and implementation for a move into a distance learning environment with hardware and software purchases and training. Implementation of a virtual parent conference system.

Amy is passionate about promoting an inclusive learning environment in international schools, by collaborating with classroom teachers and families in order to teach struggling learners reading, writing, math, as well as social and behavioral skills. She began her international career in 1999 when few schools offered learning / behavioral support services, and now twenty plus years later, she is proud of the shift in thinking and the progress made in the number of schools that provide support for students with a variety of unique learning profiles.

Asha is creative and generous and enjoys spending her time building and creating new things from recycled materials and with Lego, as well as reading books. She has dedicated herself to creating original jewelry designs that she features and sells on her Etsy site and enjoys surprising the family on weekends by baking or cooking.
Jaya is kind and sensitive. She too is creative in her play with her friends on play dates with Legos or dress up games. She has even remained in contact with one of her very special friend from a school on the other side of the world through play dates via Skype. Photography is a new topic of interest for Jaya. She recently entered the Western Idaho Fair photo contest in the Youth division and won two first place ribbons and one second place ribbon.
